How do I open Warmth?
Click the sun in your menu bar. Warmth has no window or Dock icon.
Does the percentage mean how much blue light is blocked?
No. It's how warm Warmth makes your screen, from none at 0% to its warmest at 100%. It isn't a measurement, and Warmth makes no health claims.
My screen still looks warm. How do I reset it?
Switch Warmth off or quit it from its panel; colors are restored immediately. You can also use Settings › Restore Display Colors. If Warmth isn't running, logging out and back in resets your display colors.
Why don't screenshots show the warmth?
Warmth adjusts the display itself, after macOS captures the screen, so screenshots and recordings show normal colors.
How does the schedule work with switching by hand?
Switching on or off by hand always wins and stays that way. Choose Resume schedule to hand control back to the schedule. Schedules run while Warmth is open; turn on Open at login to keep it running.
Can I use it for color-critical work?
Turn Warmth off for color-critical work, or let Warmth Pro pause automatically while apps like Photoshop or Final Cut are in front.
Does it work alongside Night Shift, True Tone or f.lux?
They can stack, making your screen warmer than either would alone. For predictable results, use one warmth tool at a time.
How do I restore my Warmth Pro purchase?
Open Settings in Warmth and choose Restore next to Warmth Pro, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.
How do I uninstall Warmth?
Quit Warmth from its panel (your colors are restored), turn off Open at login if you enabled it, then drag Warmth from Applications to the Trash.
